Who it’s for

Employees with a T4.

Straightforward returns, every credit and deduction you’re entitled to, filed early so your refund comes sooner.

Self-employed and gig workers.

Business income and expenses on a T2125, home office, vehicle costs and HST, sorted so you only pay what you owe.

Families.

Spouses' returns prepared together so credits and benefits like the Canada Child Benefit are split and claimed correctly.

Anyone behind on filing.

Missed a year, or several? That’s most of what we do.

Haven't filed in years? Start here.

Not filing doesn't make the tax go away. It adds late-filing penalties and interest, and it can stop benefits you're owed, such as the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit (formerly the GST/HST credit) and the Canada Child Benefit. The CRA can also file an assessment for you based on what it knows, which is rarely in your favour.

The good news: it’s fixable, and usually faster than people expect.

  1. We find out where you stand.

With your permission we pull your CRA records, so we know which years are missing and what slips the CRA already has.

  2. We rebuild the missing years.

From slips, bank statements and receipts. If records are thin, we tell you what's reasonable to claim and what isn't.

  3. We file and deal with the CRA.

Every missing year, filed together. If there's a balance, we explain your options, including a payment arrangement. Where it fits, we'll tell you whether the CRA's Voluntary Disclosures Program applies.

No lectures. You came to fix it; we'll help you fix it.

FAQ

How many years back can you file?

As many as you're missing. The CRA usually asks for the last six years when someone is getting back on track. We'll check your records and tell you exactly which years need filing.

Will I get in trouble for filing late?

Filing late means penalties and interest if you owe money, but filing is what stops them growing. If you're owed refunds or benefits, you can still get them for past years.

I lost my slips. Can you still file?

Usually yes. With your permission we can see the slips the CRA has on file, and bank statements fill most other gaps.

Do I need to come in?

[confirm: in person, remote, or both]. Most returns can be done without a visit.

Can you help with a CRA letter I've received?

Yes. Bring it to the free call, even if you haven't opened it.
